In
January 1997, under the aegis of Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Ranchi and
Guru Nanak Secondary School, Ranchi, a committee, headed by S.
Kuldip Singh as a President and S. Harjit Singh Sahni as Hony.
Secretary was constituted to begin this noble task of commencing the
project. With their untiring efforts and devotion the first phase of
the Hospital, completed with a humble beginning of 10 beds along
with the facility of O.P.D., Indoor, Pathology, X-Ray and Ambulance,
was inaugurated on 10th Jan. 1998 by the world renowned Neuro-Physician
Dr. K. K. Sinha. The service rendered during the short period were
highly appreciated with |

overwhelming response from the patients and it was felt by the
Committee to plan for the expansion of Hospital at the earliest in
the interest of the people of this region. In July 1999, the next
committee, under the President ship of S. Gurdip Singh Saluja with
S. Charanjit Singh Wasu as Hony. Secretary, took over the
construction of the second phase with a view to raising the capacity
of the Hospital to 100 beds by April 2001. Dr. S. Bakshi is
associated as medical advisor. The Hospital Committee has a plan to
expand its capacity to 400 beds over a period of five years with a
view to converting the Hospital finally into a full-fledged Medical
College and Research Centre.

proposed dimensions of the hospital project the facilities
planned, and the Quality of medical care afforded to the
patients at this hospital, it is everyone's earnest desire
that this hospital is completed at the earliest so that the
society can derive the benefits of medical facilities which

THE PLACE
Ranchi, the capital city
of Jharkhand is located 2000 ft. above mean sea level, provides
natural mild temperature throughout the year. It is well connected
by Rail and has daily Air flights from Delhi and Mumbai. The
hospital, within a walking distance from Ranchi Railway Station,
meets the need of lower strata of society in avoiding the expensive
travel and with the available marketing facilities in the vicinity.
Ranchi, besides, enjoys a moderate summer and invigorating winter
climate. Its salubrious climate and beautiful scenic spots nearby
makes the place an excellent choice for such a hospital.

The Hospital is promoted for the first
time by the Sikh community of this region which represents only a
small fraction of about 0.75% of the total population of state with
a mission to provide medical facilities to all sections of society.

providing latest and most modern devices available globally in the
field of Medical Science to provide high quality health and medical
care to the people of Jharkhand and the entire Eastern Region of the
country. Quick service and attendance to needy patients will be
another feature of the Hospital. Chronic cases will be examined by a
panel of doctors to diagnose the disease to provide the best medical
treatment for the speedy recovery of the patient. Patients will be
provided homely atmosphere and care with family touch of treatment
by the medical staff of the hospital. The Hospital will receive and
welcome patients in agonizing condition but will bid them farewell
