Sometimes in the year 1960, a humble Sikh by the name Kartar Singh
donated 50 Kathas of land near Station Road, Ranchi for a noble cause
to Shri. Guru Singh Sabha Ranchi, a reputed religious body of the Sikh
Community. Little could be have imagined that this piece of land his
could sever and cater the health facilities to the most needy and down
trodden people of the society at large.
Sri
Guru Singh Sabha guided by the favour of the religious Ardas (Prayer),
had envisaged a flash of setting up a hospital to serve the most needy
section of the society with medical facilities along with the most
modern technology and equipment. The FLASH was captivated and nurtured
to take the shape of a hospital and the dream of establishing Guru
Nanak Hospital and Research Centre at Ranchi came true. |
